Once you have met a Hearthkeeper (the Warm Hearth in VOLTA CITY, or the one in the Umbral Realm), START > HEARTH tends the Hearth from wherever you are.
- Leave a familiar, take one back, see how the pair is getting on, and collect an egg.
- The Hearth is one hearth: the same pair and egg whichever way you reach it.
