• SWARMS: each day three lands swarm with one of their own familiars: half of the encounters there, luminous 4x as often.
• START > MAP marks them; the Portal's EVENTS lists them.
• FOLLOWER: your first familiar walks behind you. Press A in the open to check on it.
• OPTION > FOLLOWER turns it off.
