Trade ascensions

Eight familiars now take their last form only when they pass to another Spellbinder: receive one by Link Trade, Surprise Trade or a Market purchase and it ascends the moment it arrives.

• No one to trade with? A WANDERER'S CORD (30,000 G, Goldmarch and the harbour) does it alone.

These eight no longer ascend by level. A refund, a gift or a traveller's familiar does not count as a trade.
