Privacy Policy for Arcane Familiars

Last updated: 12 September 2026

Arcane Familiars ("the game") is an offline, single-player role-playing game with an optional online co-op feature.

Data we collect. None. The game has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking. It does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or photos.

Game saves. Your progress is stored only on your device, inside the game's own storage. Deleting the game deletes the save.

Online co-op (optional). If you choose to host or join a Rift raid online:

- In CLOUD mode the game contacts the public PeerJS signaling service to connect you and your friend, then exchanges game data directly between your two devices over an encrypted WebRTC connection. The signaling service sees your device's network address for the duration of the connection, as any internet service does. The game sends only in-game information (your Spellbinder name, the familiar you bring, and battle choices). - In RELAY mode the game connects only to the relay address you enter, which is typically run by you or your friend.

No co-op data is stored by us. We do not operate servers of our own.

Children. The game is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone.

Changes. If this policy changes, the new version will be published at the same address with a new date.
